Dr. Christopher Szydelko grew up in the south suburbs of Chicago.  He made his way to the western suburbs after meeting is wife in college.  Dr. Chris has been around dentistry his entire life.  It started when he attended his father's dental school graduation at he age of 1.  As he got older, he spent more and more time around his father's office.  This exposure is what led him to decide to follow in his father's footsteps and pursue dentistry as a career.

Dr. Chris enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, everything from a simple filling to a full mouth reconstruction.  He also enjoys cosmetic dentistry and helping patients achieve the smile they have always wanted.  This can include simple whiting procedures or something more involved like veneers or moving teeth with clear removable aligners.  Dr. Chris' latest interest is dental sleep medicine, helping patient's treat their obstructive sleep apnea with an alternative to CPAP.  He can even help eliminate your (or your spouses') snoring.  

Dr. Chris attended Northern Illinois University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications.  He then earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Sciences as well as his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry.  Dr. Chris has been practicing dentisrty since 2006 and acquired Dr Lee's practice in June of 2014.   

Dr. Chris is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, Academy of General Dentisry, Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, Academy of Sports Dentistry.  He strives to continue building on his dental knowledge and skills by completing more hours of continuing education than required by the state.  

Dr. Chris understands that dental anxiety is real and enjoys helping patients overcome any fears that may inhibit them from seeking treatment.  Dr. Chris strongly believes that dentistry is more than just teeth.  He provides treatment options for patient's obstructive sleep apnea and snoring.  At every examination, extra time is taken to complete an oral cancer screening.

When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Chris enjoys spending time with his wife Melissa, his daughter Zoe and his son Gavin.  They enjoy cooking, baking, traveling, and spending as much time as possible outside.
